Equidistant from the train station and the stunning Lake Como, it’s a practical home base for exploring the area—Varenna-Esino is just a short train ride away. The spacious six-bed dorm I stayed in was nicely designed, with large lockers and sturdy bunk beds, ensuring restful nights. Amenities are modern, featuring soundproofed rooms and clean bathrooms that come with nice toiletries—a delightful touch for budget travelers. The helpful staff made a big difference, offering excellent tips for navigating Lecco's cultural gems. And the included breakfast? A real perk to kick-start your day. While the on-site restaurant is still in the works, the bar offers a complimentary welcome drink, which is a lovely way to unwind. For the price, it offers solid value without compromising comfort, making it a savvy option for your Italian adventure.
